The series of events that led me to photograph one of the funnest Santa Cruz Family Sessions I have ever had! One of my clients, and biggest supporters, gifted her favorite, closest relative, and only brother a Family Session as a Christmas gift.

Her brother and his nuclear family had a tradition of renting a home in Santa Cruz every year, where they spend a week unplugged from life in busy Silicon Valley. They drink wine, play corn hole, share lots of beach time with their girls.

That’s where I came in, and just got to capture memories of love, and fun for this family’s tradition they’ve had for years! The gift of photography that was given to them, became in turn MY GIFT. My gift to share this time with them. My gift that I got to witness their love, and photographed their interactions. I am so lucky I get to do what I do. And not only that, but I got to photograph them years later when their oldest graduated from high school, check out that session here!

Beach family sessions are certainly some of my favorite ones. We are so lucky to be close to so many beautiful beach locations Half Moon Bay, Santa Cruz, Monterey beaches are some of the most beautiful beaches in the Pacific Ocean.
