Quebec City will always hold a special place in my heart. Not only because my brother lives there, but also because it was the city that helped me heal from the deepest heartbreak I have ever experienced in my life. The streets in this beautiful city helped find myself. They made me realized I have a true creative soul. I remember wondering in the streets, and feeling stuck. I couldn’t take pictures. I have never experienced a creative blockage before.  But I also remember, that once I felt strong in my heart again, I was able to see the light again. I was able to approach people in the streets and ask if I could take pictures of them.

To be a photographer in this beautiful city is a dream, and I can’t wait to go back this summer. If you are a Quebecois… and would like to have a Family Session with me, or a Mentorship just send me an e-mail me!

Here some images from Quebec through my eyes. A combinations of images from two trips I took to this city, last year. First in July, then in October. Je t’aime Quebec City. All pictures taken with my Canon EOS 3, and Portra 400 & Tri x- 400 35 mm film.

Loved how this Almaden Valley Lifestyle Senior Session turned out. I have to say, that photographing teens, is a whole different ball game. And I love it!

Don’t think I could understand the magnitude of the feeling of having your only son go away for college. I think of how I would feel, and I get sad; and happy at the same time. Certainly a bittersweet moment in your life.  Yet, you need to let them fly.  I loved that this family made their son’s High Senior Session, a family affair. We hugged, we laughed, we let the beautiful light sink in.

Aidan’s Mom is friend of mine, and peer in my Women Networking Group (WNA). She is an amazing Personal Organizer, and your can check out her website here. Thought I would drop that in there because she is the sweetest and just  truly awesome to work with.

Now Booking Class of 2019 High School Senior Sessions. Summer is the best time to get these done! E-mail me for details!

This was probably one of the most stunning photo sessions I have been  part of. The Mystic Hotel in San Francisco was our home base. The Stockton Street Tunnel, Union Square, Maiden Lane, a classic San Francisco fire escape, and the Apple Store Building provided the perfect back ground for the pop of color.

My client is a cool, hip, and gorgeous fashion forward woman, that I am honored to call my friend. This shoot was part of a concept I wanted to put together to start offering branding images to Silicon Valley and Bay Area business owners.

Like anything that comes from my heart, this was a hybrid shoot. Styling by Cyntia Apps & Robin Kutzler. Hair & Make Up – Cassandra McClure.

A dream shoot in my books. I got to work with two people, and two amazing horses, in the most beautiful spring evening in Half Moon Bay, California. I loved every single moment of working on this branding shoot for Kristin Montero, a Health and Fitness Coach based out of Silicon Valley, California.  We worked in our vision together, and along side, I had the opportunity to photograph her dear friend, and horses owner Katie. The results: stunning images that I am so incredibly proud of.

Beautiful images from a recent Fall Session in Mountain View, California; the home of Google. There will be no soundtrack to these pictures… Just want you to feel when you see them:  Joy, Love, Sunshine, Laughter, Family, Togetherness.
