My senior year in high school was one of my favorite years ever. I felt excitement about my future; what it made it better was being surrounded by my friends, and the infinite activities and clubs I was part of. I was busy, but I loved it.

I can’t imagine what it would be like to spend most, if not all your last school year in lockdown; so much is missed.  And even though a lot of people are hurting during the Pandemic; we don’t acknowledge enough the immense effect this has on our teenagers.  I can feel myself grieving for them.

So I genuinely believe in celebrating them by creating memories for them. This year is more important than ever to create these opportunities for them.
