Socially Distanced Family Sessions

POSTED IN:

This is the story about  time in our lives where I could no longer hug my clients when I first met them for a session. About a time when I had to pull my rarely used long lens to take pictures of them. It was also the time when I couldn’t greet them with my warm smile, because I was wearing a mask. Moreover, during this time, I had to stay away from them. It was so hard, but I promised them we would make it work. I would deliver images they loved, and cherish.

Socially distance is so against the core essence of our identity as human beings. The asphyxiating feeling of the masks is the new way to show you, and to show me that we vow to keep both our families healthy.

On top of all the hardships we are living through a global pandemic, we are living through the worst fires in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is so close to home; and so many of us affected by it.

However, I have learned that in life that with hardship, and heartbreak comes growth, awareness of resilience, and opportunity for new beginnings. Changes to realize what’s really important in our lives, and overall improve sense to cherish those people around you that you love.

Finally, I use this blog as a medium to reach out to you, my dear clients. To let you know that our world will change for the better. That soon we will be back out, hugging, and laughing and breathing clean air. I am certain this will happen.

If you are looking to get smile and see some joyful images during this time … I invite you to follow my Instagram account here!

I send you a big virtual hug to you all…  thank you for your support during this time.
