Underwater Family Photography and Trust …

Playing around with Underwater Photography for the first time. A few days ago I had to describe my ideal client to a Digital Marketing consultant. I told her that I keep getting hired by my ideal client over and over again, mostly through referral and social media organic reach.  The magic sauce to my shoots, TRUST. When my clients tell me… we trust you… I am able to take my creativity to another level.

Over the summer, someone lent me an underwater case for a DSLR camera (Thanks K.K. fort trusting me with your expensive gear, and taking the time to show me how to use it), and I decide to create underwater images in my backyard pool. It was the most fun I have had in a long time.  First I played around with the new underwater equipment with my own kids, and then I decided to throw out in the universe that I wanted to offer underwater family sessions. I often tell my clients that I want to shoot in my own back yard of Almaden Valley. This time literally took them to my actual back yard.

Then this happened…. I can’t express how thankful I am for my AMAZING clients. I love them, we capture love with the camera; and I want to cry from happiness.. because this amazing creative outlet; aka job;  aka business; aka art of mine fills my soul like nothing else on Earth besides my boys’ hugs.

XOXOXOX
